Even though any collection agency is only as HIPAA compliant as our clients are, we have implemented all of the necessary safeguards to protect your patients’ personal history information from improper use or disclosure. We employ an ACA-approved Business Associate Agreement which we ask all of our clients to sign, but will also sign your privacy documents as well.

Commercial Trade Bureau is also aware of other privacy issues and legislation including but not limited to the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, The Fair Credit Reporting Act, the Buckley Amendment and the Graham-leach Act, etc.
